God’s Eternal Plan Before Time Began
Listen to this Article One of the most breathtaking truths of Scripture is that salvation is not an afterthought. It did not begin in the Garden of Eden as a reaction to man’s fall, nor was the cross a last-minute rescue plan when humanity went astray. The Bible reveals that God’s plan of redemption was set in motion before time itself began. Paul makes this astonishing claim in Titus 1:2: “In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began.” Similarly, in Romans 1:2 he reminds us that the gospel was “promised beforehand through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures.” The redemption we now enjoy in Christ was not improvised, it was eternally purposed in the heart of God.
