Will We Still Learn and Grow in Eternity?

Listen to this Article One question many believers wonder about is this: “Will heaven be static or will we still learn, discover, and grow forever?” It’s a good question, because when we think of eternity, we often picture completion and perfection. Yet does perfection mean there’s nothing more to explore? The Bible gives us hope that eternity with God will be a journey of endless discovery, not eternal boredom. 1. What Does Perfection Mean? When Scripture says believers will be glorified (Romans 8:30; 1 John 3:2), it doesn’t mean we will become all-knowing like God. Only God is infinite in knowledge (Psalm 147:5). Our perfection will mean: No sin, no error, no distortion. Pure hearts, perfect love, and unbroken fellowship with God. Freed from weakness and limitation of sin, but still creatures who can marvel and discover. In other words, perfection means we will be in the best position to keep learning without frustration, error, or pride. 2. Eternity Is About Knowing Go...

What Will Relationships Look Like in Eternity?

Listen to this Article One of the most comforting and also most puzzling questions believers ask is: “Will I know and relate to my loved ones in eternity? What will relationships look like in heaven?” It matters deeply because human life is woven from relationships: family, friends, marriages, mentors, spiritual companions. Eternity without them would feel incomplete. But Scripture shows us that relationships in eternity will not be erased; they will be redeemed, perfected, and transformed in Christ. 1. Will We Recognize One Another? Yes! The Bible affirms personal recognition beyond death. Jesus’ Example After His resurrection, Jesus was recognized by His disciples (John 20:16; Luke 24:31). His glorified body was changed, yet His identity remained intact. The Mount of Transfiguration Moses and Elijah appeared and were recognized (Matthew 17:3-4). This suggests continuity of personhood even across centuries. Paul’s Assurance Paul comforted the Thessalonians with the pr...

What Age Will We Be in Heaven?

Listen to this Article One of the most fascinating questions believers often ask is: “What age will I be in eternity?” Will babies who died young remain babies? Will the elderly stay aged? Will everyone look about the same? Though the Bible doesn’t give a direct answer, it gives powerful clues that suggest what our resurrection age will be like. 1. Eternal Life Means Perfect Wholeness No Decay, No Diminishing Paul describes the resurrection body in 1 Corinthians 15:42-44 as “imperishable” and “glorious.” Aging, weakness, and disease will not carry over into eternity. Made Like Christ 1 John 3:2 says: “When Christ appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” Since Jesus rose at the prime of His life, it’s a hint that our bodies will reflect full maturity and perfection . Eternity isn’t about childhood, old age, or decay; it’s about the full flowering of human life in Christ. 2. What About Children Who Die Young?  This is often the most tender ques...
